What this covers

Both purchases in Lanternvale: land lots and the supporter pass. Playing the game is free.

How to ask for a refund

Paddle, our online reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders, handles refunds. Either:

• use the link in the receipt email Paddle sent you, or look up your order at paddle.net; or
• write to us at [email protected] with the email address you paid with and your order number from the receipt, and we will arrange it.

The money goes back to the payment method you used, usually within 5 to 10 working days of the refund being approved, depending on your bank.

After 14 days

Purchases are not normally refunded after 14 days, unless something went wrong on our side (for example, you paid but did not receive what you bought) or the law gives you a right to one. If in doubt, write to us: we would rather sort it out.

If a lot is taken while you pay

If someone else claims a lot while your payment is going through, you are refunded in full automatically and nothing is taken from your account.

What happens after a refund

A refund cancels the purchase. A refunded lot goes back to the town, together with anything built on it; if you are inside a house there, you are put back on the street. A refunded supporter pass loses the 30 days it paid for. A partial refund leaves the purchase in place.

Your legal rights

This policy is in addition to your rights under the law, including consumer protection law in the European Union. Nothing here takes those rights away.
